A small campsite in a mountain village
Skorovas, also known as Skorovatn, is a small village in inner Namdalen. Stay close to mountain trails, fishing, local history and an active local community. The campsite has pitches for motorhomes and caravans, while tents are welcome by lake Lisskorovatnet. The local shop, Gruvekafeen café and Skjenkestova pub are all nearby.
More than somewhere to sleep
Skorovas grew around the mining industry after the Second World War. The mine closed in 1984, but its history, buildings and community spirit live on. Today the village is a peaceful base for year-round experiences.
